About the Series
Grandpa's Backyard Adventures is a children's picture book series for ages 4–7, rooted in Christian faith and centered on the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren.
Each book in the series is drawn from a real experience — a real afternoon in Tom Valdez's backyard with his grandchildren Sophia, Levi, and Caleb. The stories are warm, unhurried, and grounded in the belief that God places wonder in the most ordinary moments of everyday life.
The series is planned for 8–10 books, with new grandchildren joining the adventure as Tom's family grows.
